Garena "Checking Client Version" Bug

i know alot of you uses garena but have you ever got this bug?

When i'm logging in to garena, after i click the log in button. It says checking client version. then it hangs there. nothing. i've waited for 30minutes but still the same, nothing changed.

its supposed to Checking client version>authentication>then your logged in.

but im stuck at the 1st stage! please help. i cant play with my friends and it really sucks and irritating.

please dont be like fucking steam.

Got that a few times before. To get by this issue, at the login screen, try logging in to another server.

i've tried every server, every UDP port. nonthing. its been going on since yesterday...

my fren de comp also encounter this problem... I dunno if it's becoz he's using vista anot...

maybe its your connection?
sometimes.. i also have that problem when my mother is buffering videos..
make my connection lag.
my IM can enter.. garena login cannot -__-

otherwise you may try reinstalling.. only take less than 5mins.

Garena had it's maintenance 3pm-5pm today.

That's why it's so laggy and thousands of people got the "checking client version" issue.

You should really pay more attention when Garena posts announcements on scheduled maintenances.

Be patient.

Changing server has nothing to do with the problem here. Just wait the "checking client version" out. It's the only solution, and it works.

I used to have the same problem too, and I believe it was rectified after some adjustments to my modem's settings, which I found out after scouring google for some help,

Though i can't remember the steps i took, I managed to log into garena after following the instructions, so I suppose your issue with Garena isn't an isolated one.

Alternatively it could also be either Garena is undergoing maintanence work or your Service Provider is.

you should really pay more attention to my second post. i said it already happened yesterday(sunday). of course i know monday got maintenance.

wow LASTS for 3 days? you have no idea i am happily playing my games on garena with smooth ping. There is no way there would be lag AFTER maintenance. Then what is the maintenance for? to fix connection problems, updates, adding new game servers. please dont give lousy excuse just because you did not pay attention to my posts.
